YG Entertainment To Kissing Rumor Between G-Dragon And Sandara: 'It Was A Joke'

Dating rumors have been circling around G-Dragon and Sandara Park after a video that shows an extreme closeness between the two had spread out. In the video, netizens claimed to have witnessed G-Dragon kissing Dara after the BIGBANG concert. YG Entertainment made a response about the rumors and confirmed that there is nothing really going on with the two stars.

G-Dragon Was Caught Kissing With Sandara Park

The clip that spread on the social media like a wildfire shows G-Dragon holding and protecting Sandara from the horde of fans who were overwhelmed to see the idols after the concert. While they were walking, G-Dragon made a seemingly sweet gesture by leaning unto Sandara which was interpreted by the fans as a kiss. The other members of the boyband were also seen in the video making steps ahead of the two.

While Dara's face was entirely covered and wasn't shown in the video, her Instagram photos at the concert confirmed that it was her. Wearing the same color of dress as the one in her Insta photos, fans identified the girl walking with G-Dragon as the 2NE1 singer. Another video of a fan where her hoodie dropped for a second showed Sandara's hairstyle and color.

YG Entertainment Responds To The Issue

Dating rumors then appeared after the event. However, YG Entertainment released a statement and said that there is nothing going on between G-Dragon and Sandara Park. Daragon's gestures were only made to the actress-performer as a prank to fans. BIGBANG and 2NE1 company also made clear that the two 'never kissed.'

"G-Dragon suggested during the after party that they should get their picture taken in such a pose as a prank. This dating rumour was all caused because of a joke. They also never kissed," YG Entertainment to Koreaboo.
