'Law & Order:SVU' Season 18 Part 2: Mariska Hargitay & Robert John Burke On Romantic Role? 4 Episodes Left Before Season 19

"Law & Order: SVU" Season 18 Part 2 will return with a special twist for the characters played by Mariska Hargitay and Robert John Burke. On Wednesday, January 4, 2017 Episode 4 titled "Next Chapter" will be unwrapped before the viewers. However, with only four episodes left there are already questions on the show's future.

It seems that the NBC's top rated show is still getting the support of the fans. According to TVseriesfinale, "Law & Order: SVU" Season 18 Part 2 continues to be one of the networks' ace in the rating chart. Hence, there is no danger yet for its cancellation, although there is no news yet for its renewal as well.

In a report by Spoilertv, "Law & Order:SVU" Season 18 Part 2 will bring in the story of a woman who becomes a victim of sexual assault by an unknown rapist. The woman was not able to uncover the identity of the masked assailant but she knew that he was her stalker. That stalker was the same man who was imprisoned for a crime of stalking the woman.

Additionally, "Law & Order: SVU" Season 18 Part 2 will have a fresh start with romance unfolding between Lt. Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Capt. Tucker (Robert John Burke). This remains to be seen because it is only Tucker who's thinking of having a future with Olivia when he retires.

"Law & Order: SVU" Season 18 Part 2 also stars the playing detectives Ice-T as Fin Tutuola, Kelli Giddish as Amanda Rollins and Peter Scanavino as Dominick "Sonny" Carisi, Jr. Other recurring stars are Peter Gallagher and Elizabeth Marvel. For the fans and followers of the series, more things are expected to occur.
