"MobilEye" and HERE announced their partnership a week ago, which they tend to create a new vehicle technology. The two companies are ready to combine their existing products to make a more advanced technology for vehicle enthusiasts.

The Automotive News Europe said in their report that HERE and "MobilEye" will use the "MobilEye" Roadbook technology. The "MobilEye" Roadbook is a cloud-base road map derived from the crowd-source sensor data.

The "MobilEye" Roadbook is very convenient to use due to its rich information about the road, emphasizing landmarks and roadways clearly. With the help of the EyeQ4, vehicles will be more aware of the surroundings since it is packed with 8 cameras that provides a 360 degree view for a faster detection of the environment.

Once the two combined their technologies, the "MobilEye" Roadbook will provide a real-time HD mapping system, a technology system that can only be found in their product. HERE will be providing the raw sensor data and will be incorporated in MobilEye's current program.

As per the Country Caller, HERE was previously owned by Nokia back in 2008. It was known to be the Navteq before it was sent to the company that owns BMW and Audi. HERE provides services similar to what the "MobilEye" catered, they store the data mapping of the road patterns, landmarks and other road networks using their own cloud-base system storage. Moreover, HERE is also taking information from Search Engines, Social Meda Sites and some government agencies around the world.

With the announced partnership, "MobilEye" and HERE are expected to deliver a one of a kind technology to improve the road safety. More than that, easier driving routes will be provided for an easy access for a much faster travel time.
