Xbox Gold January 2017 Free Games List: New Year Includes ‘Killer Instinct 2’ & 3 New Games
Xbox gamers have been looking towards a positive experience in 2017. It seems Microsoft has not disappointed the gamers, as some of the highly anticipated 2017 titles have been included in the Xbox Gold January 2017 list.
To help gamers start the year in the right mode, Xbox Gold has revealed four new free games for its subscribers in January 2017. For Xbox One gaming console owners, "World of Van Helsing: Deathtrap" and "Killer Instinct Season 2 Ultra Edition" is available for free, while Xbox 360 players will have access to "The Cave" and "Rayman Origins, " reported Christian Times.
The "World of Van Helsing: Deathtrap" consists of three gaming modes of single player, player versus player and cooperative campaign.
While "World of Van Helsing: Deathtrap" would be available for the entire January, "Killer Instinct Season 2 Ultra Edition" will be available from January 16 to February 15, 2017. Compared to the basic edition of the game, the Ultra edition contains access to eight new costumes, fighters, and sixteen premium accessory packs.
Additionally, "The Cave" will be available from January 1 to January 15 and features the journey of three explorers with unique stories and personalities.
Another free game included in the list is "Rayman Origins." This platform based game would be available to gamers from January 16 to January 31. The storyline revolves around Rayman, the protagonist and his friend Globox, fighting all the evil creatures of Glade of Dreams.
In addition to all the above, Xbox Gold subscribers have an additional two weeks to enjoy the first person survival video game "Outlast", which was included in the December roster. For Xbox One owners, it would be available until February 15, 2017. Xbox One players would also be able to enjoy all the games of Xbox Gold by using the "Backward Compatibility" feature.
