Brad Pitt on Angelina Jolie: “She has no self-regulating mechanism”
Hollywood actor Brad Pitt accused ex-wife Angelina Jolie of exposing their children's privacy as their custody battle becomes more contentious.
The "Fight Club" actor's lawyers filed a motion Wednesday requesting a Los Angeles Superior Court judge to seal the records of their six children - Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and the eight-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
Pitt's lawyers slammed the 41-year-old Academy award-winning actress for making "the names of [the children's] therapists and other mental health professionals" public.
"[Angelina] apparently has no self-regulating mechanism to preclude sensitive information from being placed in the public record, or she has other motives," stated the lawyers in the court documents, according to NBC News.
They added, "Although she had already made them public, she did it again."
The 53-year-old actor wants a joint physical and legal custody while the "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider" star wants sole physical custody and currently enjoys the temporary physical custody while Pitt received scheduled visits.
Jolie granted Pitt four hours of visit with their kids on Christmas Day.
According to Daily Mail, insiders told In Touch Weekly that the boys Maddox and Pax are at odds with Pitt while the younger ones "can't understand why they're being kept away" from him.
"Some of the girls are accusing their older brother of being responsible for their not seeing Brad either," said the insider.
The warring couple's former bodyguard and ex-SAS soldier, Mark Billingham, also spoke about his experience working for the high profile couple as he joined Channel 4's SAS: "Who Dares Wins" as an instructor.
"What surprised me was their low level of common sense," The Sun quoted Billingham as saying.
He added, "They're not stupid, but because of the world they live in they just haven't done something like that for so long. I found that weird."
He also said that he practically acted as a father figure to the kids.
On the now estranged couple, he said, "People love her but hate him."
Pitt is now pursuing women banned by his ex-wife, said reports.
