"Goblin" actress Lee Il revealed she initially worried about playing the character of the mysterious old lady.

In an interview with "Korean Ilbo" on Tuesday, the 34-year-old "Inside Men" actress said even the show's popular screenwriter shared her initial worries.

"I was really worried because I had to look very old. The writer, Kim Eun Sook, was worried about me playing the role back in September when we had the initial script rehearsal," allkpop quoted the actress as saying.

It was only after the show's first shooting that all their worries finally ended.

"But after the first shooting, the writer told me, 'You were really great,' and all the worries I had washed away," Lee Il said.

She added that transforming into the old lady character required her to completely lower her voice and five hours to finish the makeup and prosthetics. She also came up with the old lady's walking style. Yet despite her successful portrayal of the old lady which turns out to be the mysterious goddess of birth, Lee Il shared her doubts about playing another grandma character.

She said, "Putting on makeup to become a grandma was difficult. It made me a question, could I do this ever again?"

Another actor who seemed to nail his "Goblin" character is 35-year-old "My Girl" star Lee Dong Wook. His pale complexion and red lips looked perfect as he played the role of a Grim Reaper.

Netizens were completely taken by his red lips that the search word "Lee Dong Wook tint" appeared on Korean web portals.

The actor already busted reports that he applied on red tints to his lips when he appeared in a broadcast for his 2015 drama "Bubble Gum" with co-star Jung Ryeo-won.

He approached the camera, rubbed his lips as he insisted that he didn't put on anything. He claimed his lips were already that red ever since.

"An oriental medical doctor once told me that people with a lot of heat in their body sometimes get this kind of red lips," KpopHerald quoted Lee Dong Wook as saying.
