Kim Soo Hyun Renews Contract With His Label

Kim Soo Hyun renews contract with his current label, KeyEast.

As revealed by KeyEast today, December 19, 2016, Kim Soo Hyun renewed his contract with them.

"Kim Soo Hyun grew as an actor for the past 7 years with KeyEast that is leading the new Hallyu and is loved by fans worldwide. We will not only support his promotions and activities but also become partners who can influence each others' lives in the best way for 10 or more years," said Yang Geun Hwan, the label's CEO, proudly announcing to fans that the actor is staying with them.

Kim Soo Hyun had been with KeyEast since 2010.  He was with KeyEast when he landed his first leading role in 'Dream High' (2011).

The actor rose to fame with his roles in the historical drama 'Moon Embracing the Sun' (2011), where he played the role of the Crown Prince which later became King Lee Hwo, and the film Secretly Greatly (2013), where he played the role of a North Korean spy.

He even became more popular with his iconic role as an alien who landed on Earth during the Joseon Dynasty in the drama 'My Love from the Star' (2013-2014). He shared an amazing on-screen chemistry with lead actress Jun Ji Hyun making the drama so popular not only in Korea.

His latest project is 'The Producers' which aired on KBS2 from 15 May 2015 to 20 June 2015 with a solid average viewership rating of 12.5%. He is also a part of the film 'Real' which is set to be released within the first six months of 2017. He finished filming he said movie last June.

It was also reported that the actor will start filming for his next movie as soon as he had renewed his contract with the label.
