Recent news and updates regarding "Winds of Winter" centers on the notion involving George RR Martin. There are claims arising that the highly acclaimed author of the "A Song of Fire and Ice" is now at odds with HBO.

It stands out that rumors are not leaving George RR Martin's side. Claims have also surfaced that HBO is no longer thrilled with the way things are going with the author of "A Song of Fire and Ice." With speculation on the rise, the fans and followers could not help but feel anxiety if ever the release date of "Winds of Winter" is further prolonged.

Moreover, this not the first time that segment was tangled in a rumor and speculation. To prove the latter, a former report from GamenGuide revealed of the presumed obstacles of George RR Martin in writing "Winds of Winter." The report relayed that despite the positive details for the sequel for "A Song of Fire and Ice" which is "Wind of Winter," there has been no proof that it is accurate and even George RR Martin did not make a statement proving the rumors to be true and reliable.

Also, as for the insinuation that the "Wind of Winter" manuscript is already wrapped up, that rumor has already been debunked because George RR Martin is currently tied up on finishing his other projects, thus the sequel of "A Song of Fire and Ice" would be penned a bit longer than anticipated, as noted by the same post.

University Herald also relayed of some rumors regarding the release date of "Winds of Winter." Based on the report, 2017 is the rumored release date for the sequel of " A Song of Fire and Ice."

With the rumors in upbeat, the author of "Winds of Winter," George RR Martin remains mum on the issues and has not affirmed any of these notions to be correct and credible. For the fans and followers, all of the rumors should be taken with a grain of salt in mind.
