‘2016 MAMA’ Winners Revealed

‘2016 MAMA’ ratings have dropped by more than half compared to last year.

The '2016 Mnet Asian Music Awards' was held at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong last night, December 2. If you missed it, here's the complete list of the '2016 MAMA' winners.

For the grand prizes, there's BTS for 'Artist of the Year', EXO for the 'Album of the Year', and TWICE - "Cheer Up" for the 'Song of the Year'.

For the minor prizes, there's Crush for 'Best Male Artist', Taeyeon for 'Best Female Artist', EXO for 'Best Male Group', TWICE for 'Best Female Group', NCT 127 for 'Best New Male Artist', and IOI for 'Best New Female Artist'.

For the genre category, there's BTS - "Blood Sweat & Tears" for 'Best Dance Performance - Male Group', G-Friend - "Rough" for 'Best Dance Performance - Female Group', Taemin - "Press Your Number" for 'Best Dance Performance - Solo', Suzy & Baekhyun - "Dream" for 'Best Collaboration', Davichi - "Beside Me" for 'Best Vocal Performance - Group', Crush - "Don't Forget" feat. Taeyeon for 'Best Vocal Performance - Male', Ailee - "If You" for 'Best Vocal Performance - Female', Lee Juk - "Don't Worry" for 'Best OST', CNBLUE - "You're So Fine" for 'Best Band Performance', and Cjamm & BewhY - "Puzzle" for 'Best Rap Performance'.

For the special awards, there's Black Pink - "Whistle" for 'Best Music Video', MONSTA X for 'Best of Next Artist Award - Male', Black Pink for 'Best of Next Artist Award - Female', Min Hee Jin for 'Best Visual & Art Director', J.Da Apissara Phetruengrong for 'Best Choreographer', Masahiro Hikada for 'Best Promoter', Bang Si Hyuk for 'Best Executive Producer', Timbaland for 'Best International Producer', Tanaka Hironobu for 'Best Engineer', Quincy Jones for 'Inspired Achievement', Black Eyed Pilseung for 'Best Producer', EXO for 'Best Asian Style', GOT7 for 'iQiYi Worldwide Favorite', and Seventeen for 'World Performer Award'.

The Mnet Asian Music Awards started in 1999. It aims to bring together musical artists of different cultures and languages on one great stage and to introduce Asia's music to the world.

'2016 MAMA' is the 18th year of the music award. It was simultaneously broadcast live in South Korea, Japan, the United States, and in Southeast Asia. It was also the 7th time that the said ceremony was held outside South Korea.
