JYP Entertainment Confirms Miss A’s Suzy Having Her Solo Debut Soon

There's no truth in all these Lee Min Ho Suzy wedding rumors, clarified both parties.

JYP Entertainment finally confirmed reports of Miss A's Bae Suzy having a solo debut soon. Although still a member of the girl group Miss A, which started as a four-person group turned three, Suzy seems ready to further her career by establishing herself as a soloist.

"Suzy went to Hong Kong on November 25," an insider reveals about Suzy's solo debut plans, as cited by Soompi. "It was revealed that she went for a jewelry brand event as their spokesmodel, but she also took her solo album jacket photos and filmed her music video."

A source from JYP Entertainment has further confirmed the news and said that the exact date of the 22-year-old's solo debut is still being discussed.

"It is true that Suzy has filmed her album jacket and music video and recorded her album," the source continued. "However, the specific schedule for her solo album has not been discussed yet."

Reports reveal that Suzy is including a self-composed song in her upcoming solo album. Purportedly, she is giving her best in singing all her songs on her first solo album and even took part in selecting her clothing for her debut.

Suzy's solo debut follows through JYP Entertainment's announcement earlier this year pertaining to the agency's plans to focus on Miss A's individual members' activities over the group's comeback. This is in light of original member Jia leaving the group on May 20 of this year just as her contract expired. To this, JYP has announced its position and plans for Miss A and its members, denying the rumors of the idol group's disbandment.

"It is only Jia leaving the group. Miss A will not disband," the official announcement of JYP Entertainment stated. "While there aren't any plans for an album or come back activities for some time, the three members will focus on individual activities."

As such, Suzy is soon to be making her solo debut which is supposedly coming late December or early January. Meanwhile, aside from her singing career, Suzy is also progressing in the acting industry as she is confirmed to star in a new drama "While You Were Sleeping" alongside actor Lee Jong Suk. The drama is expected to air sometime in 2017.
