Taylor Swift Is The Highest-Paid Female Musician in 2015 With $1.2 Million In Earnings Per Day, Swift and Harris Becomes Highest-Earning Couple
2015 has definitely been a big year for Taylor Swift. The 25-year-old singer was recently listed as the highest paid female in the music industry, raking in an astounding $1.2 million every day this year.
The Express reports Sunday the "Shake It Off" singer has pocketed $317.8 million starting January, all thanks to her massively successful "1989" album, sold-out world tour and lucrative endorsement deals for major brands such Keds, Diet Coke and Sony to name a few.
Her fifth studio album "1989" earned Swift $1.29 million in its first week of release in October 2014. This was followed by a world tour which saw her perform jam-packed concerts in 85 venues in North America, Europe and Asia, News Australia writes Oct. 19.
For the North American leg of her tour alone, Swift already banked $23.17 million.
U.S. financial experts say it is "inconceivable" for Swift not cap off the year with more than $365 million in earnings, The Express reports.
The Daily Mail UK writes Oct 18 Swift ranked eighth in the Forbes Celebrity 100 rich list and 64th in the powerful women list. Forbes also predicted she will reach billionaire status by the time she reaches 30 years old.
Los Angeles-based media analyst Mike Raia said, "Right now, Taylor is untouchable. She is so far ahead of everyone else in the industry that she has become not only a powerhouse entertainer but also an important mover and shaker on the commercial side of the music business."
Swift and her beau Calvin Harris are currently the highest-earning pair in the industry for 2015, amassing a combined net worth of $146 million. Together, they eclipsed reigning top-grossing couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z who recorded a $110.5 million fortune in 2014.
With her current prominence and bankability, it is clear that Taylor Swift will never go out of style.
