‘Prey For The Gods’ Is The New ‘Shadow of the Colossus;' PC Game Offers Complex Mechanics!
"Prey for the Gods" is a new PC game which has very similar mechanics of "Shadow of the Colossus". The game also mixes other similar game mechanics like "Tomb Raider".
According to its initial review, the game has a bleak landscape, mostly with snow. As a player, you can also battle against massive enemies which you can climb over, according to Kotaku. Sources added that this new PC game is likened to the old classic game, "Shadow of Colossus" without actually playing it.
This new game is poised to be the next independently developed game. Many gamers and Twitter followers of the developers are talking already about it, according to Gamespot. The trailer that was shown on YouTube and on several other gaming websites was a minute and a half long. "Prey for the Gods" showed different types of similar video game mechanics like from "Tomb Raider", "Shadow of the Colossus", and scavenge to survive type of gameplay, according to sources.
The game mechanics and the art style are similar with "Shadow of the Colossus", but developer No Matter has given some references to the old classic, according to VG247.
"Prey for the Gods is a brutal journey set on a desolate frozen island, where your only chance of survival is to destroy the very gods you believe in," developer No Matter explains, as quoted by source. "You play a lone hero sent to the edge of a dying world to discover the mystery behind a never-ending winter."
"Arriving with only the clothes on your back, you must survive the colossal dangers that you encounter," No Matter continued. "To restore balance and reclaim the land from the brink, you will be faced with questions that not even a God knows the answer to."
"Prey for the Gods" will be coming to Windows and Mac. There is still no word on a release window, according to Destructoid.
