'This Week, My Wife Is Cheating' Team Gives BoA a Birthday Surprise on Set

Bo-ah Kwon, known by her stage name BoA, received a birthday surprise by her co-workers on the set of "This Week, My Wife Is Cheating!" While she may be celebrating her life anniversary during work, the production team didn't fail to make her happy on the occasion.

BoA celebrates her birthday on Nov. 5. She then shares the heartwarming video with the staff and actors celebrating her birthday with the classic birthday song and cake. No matter how simple it may seem, the gesture proves to be a great gift no matter as BoA was all smiles throughout the surprise.

"Happy birthday, dear Writer Kwon," actor Lee Sang Yeob sings, endearingly uses BoA's character in the drama.

Everyone on the set sing together as Yan Seob carries the birthday cake for BoA. Boa wishes for the drama's success as she blows out her candles.

"Surprised! As expected, our staff is the best!" Boa captioned the video. "Thank you! Advance birthday cake~"

BoA is one of South Korea's best pop singer. At an early age of 13 years old, when everyone is busy with crushes and school, BoA released her debut album "ID; Peace B" and has then became involved in the entertainment world. She is also one of the artists who reached commercial success in Japan. Over the years, BoA continued to work on her albums and has been dubbed "Queen of Korean Pop" for her long list of achievements and outstanding personality.

Now, as BoA turns 29, she returns to acting with the new JTBC drama "My Wife Is Having an Affair This Week." She plays the role of Kwon Bo Young, the main writer of a TV program. She is a divorcee and has since been committed only to her work. Meanwhile, Lee Sang Yeob acts as Ahn Joon Young, who works as a PD and Bo Young's love interest.

"My Wife's Having an Affair this Week" tells the story of Do Hyun Woo (Lee Sun Kyun) who learns that his wife Jung Soo Yeon (Song Ji Hyo) is having an affair and doesn't know what to do. Trying to protect his marriage, he starts to talk with anonymous people through online social networks. The drama airs every Fridays and Saturdays, 20:30 (KST), on JTBC channel.
