After her recent controversy regarding her SNS post of the Japanese rising flag during South Korea's Independence Day, Girls' Generation's Tiffany has finally returned to social media on Wednesday.

On October 19, the female idol posted three new photos on her Instagram account. Allkpop also mentioned that these new photos are her first normal posts since her controversial incident.

The pictures show Tiffany in different photo shoots including those for "Sheen" and "Baby G" watches. One photo has texts written that read, "My name is Elegant, not Tiffany," while the other shows the singer's back.

Public's response to Tiffany's comeback is divided. Some stated their frustrations by commenting, "It is too soon," "I am going to go and hate on her, she deserves it," "I am not a hater but she never left SNS to begin with," "Everybody knows she was on Instagram the whole time. She just did not like anything except that one time a couple weeks back where she got caught slipping," and others.

However, there are more positive comments, especially from her avid supporters. Some of them expressed their unending support for Tiffany by writing, "Tiffany's SNS is not meant to cater to the public always, it is for the fans. A month has already passed. It is time to move on. Welcome back, Tiffany," "Innocent mistake. She should have been forgiven immediately and this matter was forgotten quickly. Maybe the netizens or whatever the hell they are called need to be reminded that America ended Imperial Japan in addition to the 36,000+ Americans who died defending South Korea. Tiffany is an American, show her respect! She learned from this, drop it," "Tiffany is a wonderful young woman who does not deserve this treatment. Get back to enjoying the good things of all the sweet gals from Girls' Generation," "Finally, Tiffany's back! The apology was enough to me but well, Koreans' meanness is always so shady. For real! I wish they leave her alone and do not go commenting on her IG gloomy and rude things," and more.

What do you think of the situation? Is it too early for Tiffany to return to SNS or is it time for her to communicate with her fans again?
