'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds' Actors Thank Viewers as the Drama Ends
The widely successful KBS 2TV Monday and Tuesday drama "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" aired its last episode on October 18 and the main actors of the drama expressed their gratitude for the success of the series.
Park Bo Gum who played the role of Lee Youn in the drama, posted on his personal Twitter account to relay his gratefulness to the viewers. He said, "To everyone who watched KBS 2TV's 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds' all this time and loved the moonlight monarch Lee Young, thank you very much!!" The actor also shared a video clip of his character, Lee Young, turning majestically to bestow his subjects with his signature, warm smile for the last time, a report from allkpop stated.
Kim Yoo Jung, who acted as Ra-On in the drama, posted a photo of her character sitting in a bed of flowers on her Instagram. The caption reads, "I am thankful to all the viewers who loved 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds' all this time. May you always be filled with happiness."
B1A4's Jinyoung also took to his Instagram his thoughts on finishing the drama series. He wrote, "I would like to thank everyone who loved 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds,' a production that I found difficult yet sentimental, but which will remain in my heart. I would also like to thank all of the actors and staff who worked hard despite the hot weather. It will be a very good memory. I also thanks and love everyone who loved Yoon Sung. Yoon Sung, I hope you find good love in heaven."
In its final episode, the drama recorded a viewership of 22.9 percent, according to Nielsen Korea. The 18-episode drama highlighted the story of Crown Prince Lee Yeong who took over the country from 1827-1830. It was based on a web novel with the same title. The Crown Prince fell in love with a woman who disguised herself as a eunuch.
