Sistar's Hyorin to Make a Solo Comeback in November
According to a report from the Korea JoongAng Daily, Sistar leader Hyorin will come back with a solo album next month, her first in three years.
Starship Entertainment, the agency which handles the career of Hyorin, confirmed on Monday that the singer will release her album on November 8. Reportedly, the album will feature songs in collaboration with various hip-hop artists such as DOK2 and Jay Park.
The agency announced, "Hyorin's solo comeback will place special meaning on the number three. She prepared for this album for three years, she will return with three different concepts, and she will also be unveiling three music videos. Her return will be worth looking forward to.
The idol will drop her first collaboration with DOK2 on October 26. It will be followed by her follow-up track that features Jay Park on November 1 before releasing her full album on November 8.
Hyorin also took part in Far East Movement's new album and lent her voice in one of their songs. On October 18, Far East Movement released a teaser video of their song "Umbrella" Part 1. They collaborated with Hyorin and Gill Chang, and the song is part of the group's new album titled "Identity."
The teaser features Hyorin's powerful voice accompanied by awesome beats. Longboard skater Ko Hyo Joo also stars in the music video of the song. Aside from Hyorin, Far East Movement's album also features other South Korean artists such as Yoon Mi Rae, LOCO, Urban Zakapa, Jay Park, Girls' Generation's Tiffany, and EXO's Chanyeol.
Hyorin swept different music charts with her solo release titled "One Way Love" in November 2013 and is considered as one of the idols who have most powerful voices. In 2014, she sang the Korean version of the hit song "Let It Go" for the Korean release of the Disney movie "Frozen."
