Creator Of 'PPAP' Song Signed By One Of South Korea's Big 3

The creator and composer of the viral Pen Pineapple Apple Pen (PPAP) Song may sign with one of the Big 3 Companies in South Korea.

The man behind the viral song, Kosaka Daimaou, is a comedian and DJ in Japan and his real name is Kazuhiko Kosaka. After Kosaka posted and shared his original video of the PPAP song on social media, it rapidly went viral. The song is definitely catchy and sticks on your head when you hear it for the first time. It's unique beat, lyrics, and tone made it stand out among other songs.

According to a report, Daimaou may be signing a contract with one of the most prominent entertainment companies after the hit song "PPAP" became viral online. Many people around the globe are already familiar with the viral song after it has surfaced throughout the world and some are already doing a cover and different versions of the song like an R&B, ballad, acoustic, and pop version of the song.

Everyone who has access to the internet has probably heard the viral video. The video of PPAP is a nonsensical song about a pen, an apple, a pen, and a pineapple. The fictional character of Piko Taro was the character played by Kosaka in the viral video.

The viral video even surfaced the Kpop world where many idols like f(x)'s Victoria and TWICE made cover videos of the song.

Currently, Piko Taro may be invading the Korean pop culture due to the report that he may be working with one of the largest labels in South Korea, SM Entertainment. However, there is no official statement yet has been released regarding the speculations of Piko Taro working in the agency and it seems that they are working together in terms of music distribution. Many fans are amazed and excited thinking that the Japanese comedian may be joining SM Entertainment.
