APINK More Mature with Comeback Album 'Pink Evolution'
APINK girls promoted their much anticipated comeback album "Pink Revolution" last Sept. 26.
The band is the latest act to return on stage during the autumn season, Inquisitr reported.
The members talked about their feelings and thoughts about being on stage again to share new music to their supporters. Hayoung said "we couldn't see the fans for a long time. I hope we have more opportunities to see our fans. There are probably people who still don't know who we are."
The female idols hope to look more mature with their new record, Soompi reported. Eunji shared her goal for the band after a long hiatus. She said "I want people to acknowledge us and say things like 'Apink can do this kind of concept well. They've become a more matured group,' when they talk about us."
The title track "Only One" composed by Black Eyed Pilseung shows the girls' take on R&B and hip-hop genre.
The band even prior to the release of their album remained in demand with their tour this year in Vancouver, Dallas, Los Angeles and Dallas. They also released their sixth single in Japan titled "Summer Time" last Aug. 3. The song was promoted in the country's main cities including Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Osaka, Nagoya, Tokyo, Kobe and Niigata.
The new album has 9 songs titled "Oh Yes," "Only One," "Boom Pow Love," "Drummer Boy," "Fairy," "To. Us," "Catch Me," "Ding Dong," and "When You Beckon." The artist under Plan A Entertainment released concept images prior the release of "Pink Revolution" showcasing their innocent, fierce and confident images.
APINK is composed of Park Cho-rong, Jung Eun-ji, Yoon Bo-mi, Son Na-eun, Kim Nam-joo and Oh Ha-young under Cube Entertainment. The band is popular for their bubblegum pop tracks including "My My," "Mr. Chu," and "NoNoNo."
