Rumors about Diablo III surfaced Twitter when a tweet from Big Ryan telling that fans are hopeful for a game announcement in the upcoming event received a reply from Blizzard saying "BizzCon will be really cool this year."
Diablo fans have different speculations in connection with the announcement for this year's event. Some assume that Diablo II update will include the newest 3D game engines as based on this year's poster of Blizzcon. The poster shows a Diablo character that has similar appearance with the game's Lord of Evil.
Other speculations include a prequel or sequel of the game or the release of Diablo IV. Some fans also guess that there will be an announcement of an expansion of Diablo III or a mobile game version of the game. Diablo III seventh season is currently on its first month.
With all these speculations, game enthusiasts are almost sure that the upcoming event is cooking something for Diablo fans. Itech Post cited the statement of past community manager of Blizzard teasing fans to get excited about the October event.
StarCraft HD is also rumored to have a remake announcement on the convention. The details were supposed to be unveiled this month.
Meanwhile, BlizzCon confirmed the in-game goodies for the attendees of the event. According to PC Gamer, the offer includes the Knight-Captain Murky and Legionnaire Murky for World of WarCraft. An overwatch skin for Bastion, Heroes for the Storm's Nexus Tiger mount and Diablo 3 pet are also awaiting the participants.
