EXO Tops Hanteo Chart With 1M Album Copies Sold Worldwide
The Korean Boy group EXO claims the top spot at the Hanteo Chart with a total of 1 million copies sold out Worldwide.
EXO's third repackaged album named "Lotto" garnered huge sales and support from EXO fans around the world. This year has been a busy year for EXO due to their concerts, fan meeting, album promotions, as well as their individual projects and schedules.
However, despite of their busy schedules, EXO's effort and hard work are now paying off with the music achievements from their 3rd repackaged album, Lotto. This year, EXO gains another music win by ranking number one with the most number of album sales on Hanteo Chart.
Last week, EXO gained their 7th win at Inkigayo where they also got the number one spot on the YouTube weekly chart and qualifying for the Billboard's World Albums Chart. EXO rises to number one spot on the Hanteo Chart with an estimated of 1,002,550 album copies sold, While the k-pop group BTS got the second place with 400,242 albums sold, followed by SEVENTEEN with 258,913 albums sold, VIXX with 205,499 albums sold, and lastly, GOT7 with 133,970 copies sold.
EXO, under the SM Entertainment company, recently ended their album promotion of "Lotto." The Korean boy group is currently preparing to complete the remaining concert schedules for their EXO'RDIUM tour.
Korean boy band EXO debuted in 2011 under SM Entertainment Company. The band originally consists of 12 members. However, 3 of its members previously left the group due to personal reasons. EXO released several singles in 2012 such as "What Is Love," "History," and the Mama EP. In 2013, EXO released their full-length debut album entitled XOXO, and their album sold over a million copies worldwide.
Furthermore, EXO is set to release their second Japanese album entitled "Coming Over" on December 7th of this year.
