‘Happy Home’ Actors Lee Sang-woo and Kim So-yeon Dating in Real Life
The South Korean drama 'Happy Home' has recently ended and the lead actors of the drama, actress Kim So-yeon and actor Lee Sang-woo confirmed that they are dating in real life since their meeting on the set.
"Happy Home" is based on the biggest Chinese restaurant in Chinatown. This drama portrays the true meaning of family. The story is about a family's sadness and happiness. The Bong Family struggle and fight all the time however, when dinner time comes, they make sure that everyone is happy and smiles again.
On the MBC series, the story rotates around Sam-Bong (Kim Young-Chul) who opens a Chinese restaurant Gahwamansasung. He has a wife and three children: twins Hae-Ryung (Kim So-Yeon) and Man-Ho (Jang In-Sub) and youngest sibling Hae-Won (Choi Yoon-So). Hae-Ryung meets Ji-Gun (Lee Sang-Woo). They become close to each other and they share common interests. However, Ji-Gun has a secret that he can't tell Hae-Ryung.
Kim So-yeon, the 35-year old actress played the role of Hae-Ryung and Lee Sang-woo, the 36-year old actor played the role of Ji-Gun. In the drama, they are lovers who remarry after each experiencing divorce, and many troubles are waiting ahead of them.
According to the officials from Lee's management agency, they said that the two have just begun dating.
"About halfway through the series, the two began to act suspiciously, and by the end of the show, they were seeing each other. Both are introverts and shy, but unlike their cold first impressions, they are warmhearted and kind. They suit each other well," a source in the drama's production said.
Lee Sang-woo started his career in 2005 and he gained popularity in playing roles in dramas namely "First Wives' Club" and "Life is Beautiful." On the other hand, Kim So-yeon debuted in the year 1994 and she is best known for her roles in the TV series "All About Eve," "Iris" and "Prosecutor Princess."
