John Cho to Take Lead Role in USA Network's Action Drama: 'Connoisseur'

Lead Drama Role 

USA Network is set to make a high-stakes drama with John Cho as its main lead. According to Variety  "Connoisseur" is an hour long drama which will revolve around John Cho who plays the drama's protagonist Clay Park.

High-stakes Drama

In the drama, John Cho is a brilliant con artist who tricks wealthy and powerful clients in the US to pay millions of dollars for fake wine, but his conning acts will eventually place him in a risky bargain with a crime syndicate inadvertently putting him in the eyes of the FBI.

Unbeknownst to Cho, his entanglement with the syndicate and the FBI will bring to light details to a past tragedy that destroyed his family in Korea may years ago.

Veteran Actor

Cho is recently well known for his role in the iconic film "Star Trek Beyond." His film portfolio includes the "Harold and Kumar" films, "American Beauty" and "Grandma." On TV, he has had important roles on NBC's "Go On" and Fox's "Sleepy Hollow."

First time Producer

"Connoisseur" is Cho's first time to take a drama's lead role. It will also be his first attempt take the executive producer's chair.
