Team USA beats Serbia 96-66 for Gold as the NBA led team handed the Serbians a crushing defeat and maintain American supremacy in Olympic basketball. The win gave Team USA's its 15th Gold in 19 outings.

Never Looked Back

Team USA led the game by 52-29 at half-time and Serbia never overcame the deficit.

Leading the victory was the immense performance both in offense and defense of Golden State player Kevin Durant unleashing a game high of 30 points along with four assists, three rebounds, three steals and a block displaying the same level of fierce intensity which he showed in the London 2012 Olympics.

Spain took bronze against Australia in a thrilling neck to neck game with the score ending at 89-88 in favor of the Spaniards.

Demolition

Team USA's demolition of Serbia was the largest margin in an Olympic men's basketball game since the Dream Team clobbered Crotia in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics with a 117-85 beating.

Undefeated Coach

The gold medal is a fitting farewell for head coach Mike Krzyzewski because Rio would be the last time he takes the helm for the USA Team. He first took the reins in 2005 and since then Team USA has been undefeated in the Olympics.

Coach Krzyzewski retires as the first men's basketball coach to have the honor of winning three Olympic gold medals.

Dominated the Entire Olympics

With Team USA's win America closes Rio with a dominating performance garnering 121 over all medals with 46 golds, 37 silvers and 38 bronzes. Great Britain came in second place followed by China.
