Niantic bans Pokemon Go cheaters according to the company's blog pokemongolive.com reiterating its commitment to make Pokémon Go a fair and fun game to fans across the globe.

Addressing Pokemon trainers all over the world, the posts says that Niantic bans Pokemon Go cheaters who "take unfair advantage of Pokémon Go abusing it with third party apps and bots. They will terminate accounts that show clear signs of cheating."
Niantic states that if a player has been detected by the system to be cheating, an email will immediately be sent stating that the users account has been terminated permanently.
Possible Errors
The company is acknowledging that errors might take place in terminating accounts. Niantic advices trainers to report their status to Pokémon Go Help Center to resolve the confusion.
