Karlie Kloss is living up to best friend goals when she defended herself from allegations involving Kim Kardashian. She supposedly complimented the famous Kardashian sister saying "I think she's been a lovely person to me in the past."

As a result, she's been accused of endorsing her best friend's nemesis. Kim's husband, Kanye West, has been targeting Taylor Swift ever since the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. The cause of the fight this time is West's claim of Taylor's involvement in the release of his song "Famous" which conveys her desire to become more 'famous' through their "collaboration". Taylor, of course, denied the claim and added that there are indeed "people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame". However, the damage is done as there are some speculating whether there really is something going on behind the scenes.

Whether this is true or not, Kloss took it to social media to explain her side: "I will not allow the media to misconstrue my words. Taylor has always had my back and I will always have hers...And I will never be the girl that you can use to pit women against each other. That isn't me."

It is then clear whose side she is supporting. The close attachment between the two has been made evident by social media posts of their relationship. Taylor's birthday greeting to Karlie earlier this month says, "I LOVE YOU KARLIE! You're such an exquisite person, always trying to make things better for others. Every day I'm inspired by how giving, loving, and thoughtful you are. Happy 24th Birthday!!!"

It just shows that Taylor considers Karlie as part of her tight circle of friends. She needs all the support she can get as the issue involving West and Kardashian doesn't seem to be dying soon.
