HyunA Performs Solo at Viral Fest Asia 2016 in Bali

Former 4minute member, HyunA, performed at the Viral Fest Asia 2016 in Bali, Indonesia. The show took place on July 17 and gave HyunA the opportunity to reveal her talents as a solo act. 

Viral Fest Asia 2016 featured over 30 acts from 12 Asian countries. HyunA explained in an interview with Yonhap News Agency that she felt a lot of pressure during the event, as one of the few Koreans invited to perform. 

"To be honest, I was very nervous," she told Yonhap News Agency on Saturday. "I'm performing alone, joined by singers from all across Asia, so it was a challenge to sing as the face of K-pop."

HyunA gained international exposure through her YouTube videos and also her appearance in Psy's "Gangnam Style" music video. 

"People might not believe me if I say I get nervous, but I tend to practice constantly to show a balanced performance," she said. "I wanted to use this opportunity to display my potential and positive energy."

HyunA is currently working on her next album to be released soon.
