27-year-old golfer, Park In-bee, now qualifies for the LPGA Tour Hall of Fame, the Korea Times reports. The accomplishment comes after successful completion of the first round of the KPMG Women's PGA Championship on Thursday.

Park made her first appearance at the LPGA Tour in 2007. She earned second place in the Women's World Golf Rankings and is only required to have 10 starts in the year in order to qualify as a Hall of Famer.

Korea Times reports that Park shot 1-over 72 at Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Washington, her 10th start of the season. She is tied for 20th.

"It feels very special because it takes me back to the time before I started playing golf when I was watching a lot of players on TV thinking that I wanted to be there with them," Park said LPGA.com on Thursday.

She added, "I wanted to be on the LPGA Tour. And once I did, the Hall of Fame became my ultimate goal, just naturally. Nobody told me the Hall of Fame should be your last goal or anything like that. But golf just came so naturally to me that I wanted to be up with the greatest players in history."

Park's qualification for the Hall of Fame is historic as the youngest golf player to qualify and only the second Korean, after Pak Se-ri in 2007.

Park has won 17 LPGA Tours, including 7 majors. She is the recipient of two Vare Trophies in 2012 and 2015 and has won an LPGA Player of the Year award in 2013.
