Sounds like the makings of a pretty good song.

On Monday, at a press release in Seoul to promote the new album "Blueming" by the South Korean pop rock group CNBLUE, the group's frontman and guitarist Jung Yong Hwa confessed to having enough apprehension about his band's career to often be kept up at night worrying.

When asked about the meaning behind the song from "Blueming" entitled "Young Forever" the CNBLUE singer was candid about his inner demons.

"I wrote that song when I couldn't fall sleep," Jung said, according to a report from CJ E&M enewsWorld reporter Lee Jin Ho. "Because we took off as soon as we debuted, if I don't feel [the music as much as I did], I think I haven't succeeded. Because I think that, I'm suffering from insomnia."

Though the four members of CNBLUE are each bona fide rock stars as one of the most popular K-pop groups in history to play their own instruments and despite his own burgeoning second career as a solo artist, Jung claims fear over his later work not being on par with earlier material has kept him up at night for some time.

"I've had insomnia for a while now," he said.

"I think a lot and am really ambitious. When my thoughts catch on, I can't sleep. I'm trying to let things go. But it's still difficult for me to sleep. I've forgotten what it feels like to get a good night's sleep. I want to be able to sleep properly again soon."

The singer-songwriter believes CNBLUE's meteoric rise to the top of the K-pop charts in 2010 with their hit single "I'm A Loner" could have something to do with his anxious late-night musings.

"If we had started out slow and blew up later, it may have been different, but because 'Loner' did so well from the beginning, I don't think I can help but have those thoughts," he said

"I know it won't be like that every time, but it's something I can't help. Because we've done well until now, I hope to be able to do better than before."
