Katy Perry: ‘Someone Like You’ For Ex-Boyfriend John Mayer? Exes Spotted Separately At Adele Concert?
Katy Perry and her ex-boyfriend John Mayer just went through the inevitable after they were spotted attending an Adele concert, TMZ reported.
"127 and John Mayer did what many of us couldn't do ... show up at the same concert after apparently breaking up ... each with a date," the site said.
Perry and current beau Orlando Bloom were spotted at the Wiltern concert in Los Angeles.
"John arrived with a new girl, whose musical taste is clearly varied ... check out the Tupac shirt," TMZ added.
Referring to the exes, TMZ said "They weren't seated near each other, so if there is a blow, it's softened."
Katy Perry and current boyfriend Orlando Bloom were earlier spotted holding hands at a vacation in Hawaii, E! Online said.
However, the paparazzi photo appeared to be a "déjà vu" of an old photo between the "Firework" singer and the "Body is a Wonderland" singer.
Katy Perry "had worn a near-identical top, paired with what appeared to be a violet sports bra and black leggings and black sneakers, during another PDA-filled hiking date in L.A. with then-beau John Mayer back in early 2013. She also wore the same outfit while hiking with him later that year," E! Online wrote.
The Daily Mail, meanwhile, said that John Mayer has appeared to have gotten over Katy Perry as her ex-boyfriend was spotted in a party with Jessica Michibata.
"John Mayer may be involved in a high profile new relationship of his own after he was spotted leaving a trendy Los Angeles nightspot with Formula One driver Jenson Button's estranged wife Jessica Michibata on Sunday," the site said.
Katy Perry, for her part, had been spotted going out with the "Lord of the Rings" star as early as December, according to the site, right after her breakup from former boyfriend John Mayer. The site also speculated that the "Fireworks" singer may have been introduced to her current boyfriend's family in the United Kingdom.
