Hayden Panettiere, the 26-year-old star of "Nashville," is recovering from her post-partum depression in a sad case of life imitating art.

The news comes amidst remarks from unconcerned fans that suggested people suffering from the condition needed to "suck it up."

"Hayden Panettiere slams those who suggest women with postpartum depression need to 'suck it up', admitting it was 'the most scary, debilitating, guilty feeling you can feel,'" The Daily Mail said.

"She said she was worried about sharing her story but has been 'floored' by the supportive response."

In response to bashers, Hayden called out the said haters and said they should "get their head examined."

"Nashville" star Hayden Panettiere gave birth to baby daughter Kaya last December 2014, her  first daughter to Ukranian boxer Wladimir Klitschko.

In an earlier interview, Hayden Panettiere was quoted as saying "'It's definitely interesting how much [the show] has mirrored my life."

In an interview with Us Weekly, the "Heroes" alum said she actively avoided getting into trouble in her youth.

"I grew up with the Lindsay Lohans and the Paris Hiltons," she was quoted as saying in an earlier interview.

"I was in the same generation. I was expected to do the exact same thing. I was watched like a hawk to not fall into the same groove, and I fought against that for so long."

The site recalled how Lindsay Lohan had been in jail several times while Hilton herself figured in several instances of mischief.

"Despite keeping herself out of trouble for years, Panettiere ended up in rehab in October 2015 - but not because she had spiraled out of control. The actress voluntarily checked into a treatment center while battling postpartum depression, her rep told Us Weekly at the time," the site said.

In an interview posted at ABC News, Hayden Panettiere was quoted as saying that she was thankful of the support she was getting when she admitted her struggles with post-partum depression.

"People connect with being human, with being real, with just doing your own thing," she was quoted as saying. "That confidence in doing your own thing is something that I'm learning more and more and more about, and it feels good."
