Fan theories and rumors place hardcore legend Mick Foley to return at "WrestleMania 32" slated April 3 at the AT&T Stadium, Fan Sided reported of the various rumors surrounding the major sports entertainment event.
According to the article, Mick Foley could be making an appearance at the pay-per-view event, which could set up his return to the franchise almost three years after leaving the WWE.
Foley, or Michael Francis "Mick" Foley Sr.'s last appearance at the franchise was during the 2015 "SummerSlam."
Foley, who used to go by Cactus Jack and Mankind, was already inducted into the WWE's Hall of Fame.
Earlier rumors place The Rock in the same event.
However, it was not made clear yet what roles The Rock and Mankind would be playing, or even if they will appear together, during the major event. Among the anticipated matches for the upcoming event is the stipulated match between Undertaker and returning prodigal son Shane McMahon.
At the moment, the rumors merely place Mick Foley with Kevin Owens.
"That's just one possibility, but apparently in the coming weeks we're going to find out for sure what Foley will be involved in leading to WrestleMania 32," the site said.
Meanwhile, WrestleZone said that Mick Foley's arrival at the arena would lead the way for a storyline.
The Bleacher Report, on the other hand, said that it was more likely that the rumored appearance for Foley would involve the anticipated match between Shane-o-Mac and The Undertaker.
"As the construction of the Shane McMahon vs. Undertaker feud progresses ahead of WWE WrestleMania 32, major holes need to be filled," the site said.
Granted Foley would be involved in the match in one capacity or another, the site said "WWE doesn't need to reveal everything about this feud at once, but the story has to be grounded in logic.
