Meek Mill and Drake Faking Feud? French Montana Backs Theory As Nicki Minaj's BF Plans To Make Record While Under Arrest
There are theories online that suggested that the feud between Drake and Meek Mill is just a ruse to sell their music.
Design & Trend in a post quoted rapper French Montana who said in an interview aired at "Larry King Now" that the two rappers may be sparring just for the music.
"I feel like with this situation, it's different," French Montana said.
"But at the end of the day, I don't feel like they have real problems. I feel like it's just a sport. It's a sport, so it's like competition. Sometimes you spar with somebody. That's what that is, 'cause ain't nobody get hurt. Nothing happened so I feel like it's just part of the game. It brings excitement to the game," he explained of the feud between Drake and Meek Mill.
Hip Hop DX also wrote that the two artists appear to be faking the feud.
"French Montana feels that Drake and Meek Mill don't have 'real problems,'" the site said in a post.
"French compared Meek and Drake's feud to sparring, and pointed out the fact that no one has been harmed as a result of the beef."
Recently, the Daily Mail said that Drake recently dropped a diss for Meek, saying "That n---- still ain't did s--- about the other one," referring to him one-upping Meek Mill.
"There's also a couple of Instagram videos floating around where you can see the 6 God deliver the changed line," the Daily Mail wrote.
"By the looks of it, he really wanted the words to stand out since he had his DJ drop the music out for that part so the crowd could hear it clearly."
According to the site, the disses between the two have not stopped further fueling the feud between Meek Mill and Drake that has gone on for a long time.
Meanwhile, TMZ recently wrote that Meek Mill is appearing to be planning to make music even while being under house arrest.
