Henry Cavill's new girlfriend has been making headlines for the past couple of months, because of the significant age difference between them. Despite keeping a low profile throughout the time that they were rumored to be together, they finally made their Hollywood debut at the Oscars last Sunday.

Could this mean that their romance is becoming serious enough for marriage?

Tara King, 19, was first linked to the 32-year-old actor last October when they were spotted looking cosy at a rugby game. They were then spotted by fans at a Dunhill event in Shanghai, China, where they were praised as a good-looking couple.

Taking their romance to Hollywood, Henry Cavill and his girlfriend Tara King were warmly received by the media and fans, despite her not being a famous celebrity.

King showed up at the awards show wearing an orange dress with gold accents, looking amazing on Cavill's arm. Mirror noted that she didn't look out of place at the event.

Nevertheless, "The Man From U.N.C. L. E." star admitted in an interview that he was intimated by the University student at first.

 "When I met my girlfriend, I was super intimidated. I wanted to impress her," the actor told Elle magazine. "I was thinking, Don't mess this up, man."

He even admitted that he's not the type to be attracted to younger girls.

 "When I was 19, I was going out with a 32-year-old," he said, pointing out that King even taught him some stuff that he "can't mention in an article."

Sounding seriously besotted, he further told the magazine that she's "fantastic."

"Everything. People say, 'Age is just a number.' A lot of times it's not just a number. It's actually a real and true sign of someone's maturity," he answered when asked about their topics of conversation.

Henry Cavill seems to be serious with his girlfriend this time around. Could Tara King be the one he pops the question to?
