Have Patrick Dempsey and Ellen Pompeo have finally forgotten the past and decided to renew their friendship?
This might just be the question their fans would like then to answer these days especially that there has never been a concrete news report highlighting the end of their reported feud.
Following the 50-year-old actor's reconciliation with his wife Jillian Fink, who is a friend of the 46-year-old "Grey's Anatomy" lead star, several followers might have been wondering if the former co-stars have already become friends once again.
It can be recalled that in May last year, "In Touch" magazine (via Radar Online) reported that Ellen Pompeo reportedly had Patrick Dempsey fired from the show because of his alleged "inappropriate relationship" on the set.
"Patrick had an inappropriate relationship with a young woman who worked on the set," a source reportedly revealed to the magazine. "[Costar] Ellen Pompeo found out and was angry because she's close friends with Jillian, so of course, she told her."
However, it was later reported that "Pompeo had nothing to do with Dempsey's affair going public, or his dismissal from 'Grey's.'"
It can be noted that the "Enchanted" actor's character in "Grey's Anatomy", Dr. Derek Shepherd or McDreamy, who used to be the husband of Ellen Pompeo's Dr. Meredith Grey, died in April last year following a car accident.
Meanwhile, after his controversial departure from the ABC medical drama, the divorce filed by his wife Jillian Fink became another reason which put Patrick Dempsey on the headlines again.
But in January, it was divulged that the then estranged couple already called off their divorce. And recently, they have been seen in public more often.
In a report by Mail Online, it was learned that Patrick Dempsey and wife Jillian Fink "were spotted enjoying some fun in the sun on the shores of St. Barths on Friday."
Since their relationship is said to be "smooth sailing" they rekindled their romance earlier this year, would the reconciliation between Patrick Dempsey and Ellen Pompeo be the next big announcement to happen soon?
