The spoilers for the much-awaited season 3 of "Tokyo Ghoul" suggest that the new season will focus on one of the lead characters, Kirishima's journey and adventures.

"The story will be told through the lens of ghoul and ex-waitress Touka Kirishima," reported Christian Today. "The manga and the anime originally follow amnesiac and college student Kaneki, which makes the Kirishima arc unwelcome to fans. But the new season will showcase her adventures."

Besides, there are speculations that Kirishima will also be showcased as Kaneki's training partner in the upcoming season 3 of "Tokyo Ghoul" anime series.

Moreover, the spoilers for the season 3 tease the possibility that Ken Kaneki's secret identity will be revealed.

"Ken is currently living under the identity of Haise Sasaki, an Associate Special Class Ghoul Investigator that formerly served as the mentor of the CCG's Quinx Squad," claimed Tokyo Ghoul Wikia. "His lost memories regained during the Tsukiyama Extermination Operation and the new season will reveal the same to the others."

Also, it is rumored that Ken as Haise will be showcased with excellent warrior and fighting skills in the new season, reported Yibada.

Further, there are speculations that the upcoming new season 3 might feature two lead characters death, Hideyoshi and Kaneki, reported Reddit forum.

Besides, Cross Map reported that the spoilers for the season 3 suggest that the upcoming anime series episodes will showcase "Tokyo Ghoul Re" manga series storyline.

With all the spoilers circulating on the anime discussion forums, there are speculations that the upcoming season 3 will actually be a reboot of the series and not a sequel.

Furthermore, there are rumors that the new episodes for the season 3 will be released by this year end, but the publisher, Studio Pierrot has not dropped single information about the same.

There is no official announcement for the release date of the new season 3 of the 'Tokyo Ghoul" series, but speculations suggest that the series has not been cancelled yet, which gives high chances for a new season soon.
