Dakota Johnson Is Not Over Boyfriend Matthew Hitt? Misses Being Cuddled?

Dakota Johnson and rocker boyfriend Matthew Hitt are no longer together as the "Fifty Shades Darker" star confirmed in her latest interview.

After their split in the summer, the couple was spotted in October 2015 holding hands while out for a walk in East Village, according to Mail Online.

Although they were seen a couple of times in 2015, which triggered speculations that they are working on their relationship, the former model said on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" late last year that she's single when asked by the talk show if she's seeing anybody.

She also offered then that her role as Anastasia Steele might have scared away potential suitors.

Apparently, Hitt wasn't happy with all the attention Johnson was getting after playing Anastasia Steele in "Fifty Shades of Grey," according to Us Weekly .

In the recent People's Choice Award ceremony, Dakota Johnson was also not accompanied by boyfriend Matthew Hitt, which only affirmed her earlier statement.

"Her life was getting too crazy and it wasn't something that he wanted to be a part of," the alleged source claimed.

In an interview with The Telegraph, she admitted that she can be lonely at times being single.

 "I just watch movies and read books and I'm happy I have the time to do those things. I cherish my solitude," she added.

Dakota Johnson said that after the split with boyfriend Matthew Hitt, she encountered some difficulty in meeting other men because they are afraid of her. "I don't know why. I think I'm fairly approachable person," she said.

The 26-year-old actress also said that one of the things she missed the most is being cuddled.

"Luckily I've such a distraction in my job at the moment that I don't think about men very often," she added. "All of my focus is on my job."
