Prince Charles Furious That Princess Diana Hid Prince William & Prince Harry In Kurt Russell's US Home?
Almost two decades after her death, revelations about Princess Diana and Prince Charles still continue to surprise royal fans, including a recent one that purportedly involves Kurt Russell.
Last month, Kurt Russell spoke about the time that Princess Diana stayed at his ranch in Colorado to hide from the paparazzi.
"I met her with Prince Charles, it was a screening of Backdraft, a movie," Kurt Russell told Australian talk show "The Project," as quoted by Hello! Magazine. "They were doing a royal - a royal thing. I was in between the two, kind of interesting at the time! They weren't getting along great."
"During the evening we talked about the paparazzi and the difficulty she had going different places and stuff so I said, well, if you ever get a chance you know come over to the ranch, we've got a good long driveway and it's hard for the paparazzi to get in there so maybe you'd like to do that," the actor continued.
The report mentioned that Princess Diana and her sons' stay at the ranch was arranged by Kurt Russel's friend Goldie Hawn and Lady Di's then sister-in-law Sarah Ferguson.
Talking to "The Late Late Show with James Corden," Kurt Russell didn't specify when the trip took place, but divulged how long the royals stayed on his property. He also dished out that he wasn't able to entertain Princess Diana personally, but her housekeeper did.
"I guess Diana wanted to come and stay with the boys and they were welcomed, so they came and stayed for ten days at the ranch and had a great time," the actor said, as quoted by Daily Mail.
Despite reports that Princess Diana went to Colorado to hide from the paparazzi, there are speculations that she went on the trip to get away from her marital problems.
"The Princess of Wales was 'desperate and terrified' and took off for America to get away from Prince Charles, Camilla Parker-Bowles, and the paparazzi," Celeb Dirty Laundry reported. "But the time spent away from Britain and Prince Charles didn't save the doomed marriage, did it? Prince Charles and Camilla continued their affair and nearly a year after meeting Kurt Russell, they separated."
Is Prince Charles furious that Kurt Russell revealed Lady Di's excursion in his ranch? Is the royal family worried that it would further revive stories about Charles and Diana's failed marriage.
It is quite unclear as the Buckingham Palace is yet to comment on reports about Princess Diana going with Prince William and Princess Harry to Kurt Russell's home.
