iPad Air 3: First iPad model To have Rear Camera Flash? A9 Chipset Rumors Set For The New Apple Offering?
Reports stirred Apple's fans worldwide when announcements came in that the famous company will be releasing its newest offering, the iPad Air 3.
Tablet users internationally couldn't help but ask what is set for the new device and what makes it different from previous models.
Rumors were all over the Internet that the new tablet that Apple offers has some features that consumers will love to have.
Although speculations said that iPad Air 3 is likely the smaller version of iPad Pro, one of the anticipated feature that reports suggested not to be found on the older Apple tablets is the flash for the rear camera that the new iPad has.
"Apple's rumored third-generation iPad Air might adopt not just a quad-speaker design, but also an LED flash for its rear-mounted camera," a French site Nowhereelse reported, noted Apple Insider.
The source also mentioned that Apple could have considered its declining sales for iPad in the past few releases to upgrade some features in the newest tablet.
"An LED flash may be less likely, since while many people do use iPads for photography and scanning documents, Apple has consciously left flashes off of every previous iPad model including the Pro," the source added.
Meanwhile, various reports said that since iPad Air 3 is the smaller version of iPad Pro, Apple users are expecting the new iPad offering to have the same A9 chipset that iPad Pro had.
As noted by Value Walk , Bloomberg reported that "the iPad Air 3 will run the same powerful processor that powers the iPad Pro. The report says the iPad Air 3 will feature the A9X processor."
"The A9X is a dual-core CPU with a 12-cluster GPU. Its graphics power is twice as much as the base A9 processor found in the iPhone 6S line," the source above mentioned.
Besides the A9X processor, the iPad Air 3 is rumored to have 4GB RAM, a 4K display and extended battery," the source added.
Apple user's anticipation regarding the iPad Air 3 is said to be relieved very soon, as rumors speculated that the new iPad will be unveiled March 15 and ready to be purchased on March 18.
