Nicholas Sparks' Reveals New Movie 'The Choice' Is Far From 'The Notebook'

Who does not love Nicholas Sparks' books? Well, another novel of the famous author will be given life as his 2007 book "The Choice" is one of the highly anticipated movies this year. The famous author speaks about his latest novel turned into film.

The author has been known for his novels which turned into blockbuster hit films such as "The Notebook," "Message In A Bottle," "Nights In Rodante," "The Vow," "The Last One," "Dear John," "The Last Song," and "A Walk To Remember." For years, he has been the leading name in romance movies and novels.

The full synopsis has been revealed by NicholasSparks.com: "Travis Parker has everything a man could want: a good job, loyal friends, even a waterfront home in small-town North Carolina. In full pursuit of the good life—boating, swimming, and regular barbecues with his good-natured buddies—he holds the vague conviction that a serious relationship with a woman would only cramp his style. That is, until Gabby Holland moves in next door. Despite his attempts to be neighborly, the appealing redhead seems to have a chip on her shoulder about him…and the presence of her longtime boyfriend doesn’t help."

In this movie, he said that it has two parts when two people in love will have to make a choice if they will make work things out or not at all. The story will make people wonder what two people will do after realizing they love each other despite the circumstances.

"Despite himself, Travis can’t stop trying to ingratiate himself with his new neighbor, and his persistent efforts lead them both to the doorstep of a journey that neither could have foreseen. Spanning the eventful years of young love, marriage and family, The Choice ultimately confronts us with the most heart wrenching question of all: how far would you go to keep the hope of love alive?" the site posted.

Reports claimed that Sparks' writings are mostly based in North Carolina. Fans have been wondering what makes the place inspiring.

In an interview with Hollywood.com, he explained how "The Choice" will be different from his other creations.

"It’s different from a lot of other places, it’s very outdoors. It’s boating, it’s very much about the water and backyard BBQs and walks and church. It’s very typical for any small towns to survive, for them to draw together," Sparks revealed, Hollywood.com reported. "It’s very polite, everyone’s like we’re all in this together even if you don’t like each other, everyone’s polite. It’s very southern. It’s very exciting to me to introduce people to this, since not everyone gets to experience it for themselves."

Nicholas Sparks' novel-based movie "The Choice" is still premiering in theaters starring Teresa Palmer and Ben Walker.
