'Tekken X Street Fighter' Release Date All Set This Year? Details Revealed!
Will the official release date of "Tekken X Street Fighter" be announced sooner than expected?
Bandai Namco has yet to provide information on the game's availability, however, Uber Gizmo claimed that it will most likely be released this year.
Apparently, Katsuhiro Harada revealed that the game is still in its early stages, however, he told Famitsu that the giant gaming studio has actually shortlisted the list of characters that will be included in "Tekken X Street Fighter's" lineup.
"I've been saying this since before, but the fact of the matter is that we're at a pretty far stage into its development," Harada explained. "It might seem like we haven't started on it at all, but the character lineup has been decided upon since a very long time ago and we've already finished the polygon models, moves and systems."
Additionally, he did discuss that the game's release date should have been scheduled earlier, but due to an undisclosed reason, it was further delayed.
"It's very difficult to talk about," he said of the game's release date. "Obviously, I had originally planned to release it much earlier than we're currently looking at."
However, he did assure fans that there would be "some kind of surprise" for the loyal fans of "Tekken X Street Fighter."
"People have been talking about the game for such a long time that they aren't going to be surprised if you just release it normally," he claimed. "I don't know if that's what we have planned, but we do plan to have some kind of surprise."
