Christina Aguilera Back To Win ‘The Voice’ Season 10; Singer Set To End 'Girl Curse' In The Show?
After Christina Aguilera gained the seat as a coach in "The Voice" season 10, various reports were saying that the singer is determined not just to sit on the red chair, but for her to win as a first girl coach in the franchise.
Based on previous reports, Aguilera's comeback in the said show won't be stopped. Though there were speculations about her return, the popstar revealed that she is definitely back.
As of now, the "Reflection" singer is said to put her A-game to break the chain of not letting female coaches to win the competition.
"I'm most excited, 'cause I think I have the strongest team overall that I've had in all the seasons. I've done it since the first season,"Christina Aguilera told Mario Lopez, noted Extra TV.
"I'm hoping to break the girl curse... no actual girl coach has won it yet, and it's driving me nuts," she added.
The singer continued, "Just now, we had Miley, and when she came on, it was like I finally felt like the balance of the universe shift and it was like I had like a female counterpart and I was so excited. I just love females."
Meanwhile, Aguilera shared to Parade that though she's up for a girl power strategy in the show, she's been taking down some insights from her co-coaches, who happened to be all male.
"Adam came in full force. Season 1, he was just so ... he's, like, the ultimate salesman. I've taken notes from this guy for years now, the singer said.
"Pharrell comes in and he's just Mr. Humble. He's got his own strategy, which is awesome, and that works for him. Everybody has solid people, so I'm excited," she added.
Christina Aguilera as a coach, Miley Cyrus as key adviser and Pattie LaBelle as mentor fo team Xtina will set the female force in the tenth season of "The Voice."
"The Voice"season 10 airs February 29 on NBC.
