'The Big Bang Theory' Spoiler: A Baby Is Coming! How Will Penny And Leonard React On Season 9 Shocker?
[Spoilers] "The Big Bang Theory" season 9, episode 15 dropped a shocker on the Bernadette and Howard's marriage - they're about to have a baby!
During "The Big Bang Theory's" episode for Valentine's Day, Bernadette and Howard were planning to spend the night in their new hot tub, unfortunately, their little Jacuzzi date was stopped short when the couple found a rabbit flopping around in it.
Their plans were further disrupted when the rabbit they named "Valentino" bit Howard and he had to go to the hospital to check for rabies. As he exits, Bernadette pets the rabbit and muttered: "We'll find another time to tell him I'm pregnant."
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, "Big Bang Theory" producer, Steve Molaro teased how Howard will react on Bernadette's pregnancy once it has been revealed to him.
"He will experience many emotions," Steve Molaro said. "We really dig into the entire group and everybody's reactions to it. They're mostly positive but obviously with some surprise and concern about what this means for the future."
Guess Leonard and Sheldon will have to baby proof their apartment after season 9, episode 15's baby bomb! While it is yet to be revealed how Leonard and Penny will react on Bernadette and Howard's baby news, fans are hoping that they will follow suit and make a little baby Hofstadter.
But Valentine's Day turned out to be not-so-ideal for Leonard and Penny. In "The Big Bang Theory's" season 9 episode 15, the couple attempted to have a typical romantic dinner at a fine dining restaurant, only to find out that they can't be seated for at least an hour.
Leonard and Penny resort to desperate attempts to bribe and flirt with the maître d' but to no avail.
"The husband and wife to find the nearest In-N-Out drive-thru and plan for a more spontaneous evening," TV Line reported.
Meanwhile, producer Steve Molaro said there are no plans yet for Leonard and Penny to leave their individual apartments and live together as a married couple.
"There are no plans for them to leave that apartment anytime soon. That would be the kind of change where it could quickly start to not feel like the show," Molaro told The Hollywood Reporter. "We haven't gotten a chance to let Penny and her new mother-in-law (played by Christine Baranski) spend a lot of time together yet and that's something we're interested in down the line."
