Are Mel Gibson and Rosalind Ross hiding their engagement? Rumors started swirling around after the 60-year-old American director and his 24-year-old champion equestrian vaulter girlfriend have been reportedly spotted canoodling during a weekend getaway in Sydney.
Gibson was in Australia shooting his new World War II drama "Hacksaw Ridge." Gibson and Ross were seen kissing, holding hands, and hugging despite getting flak over their age difference.
The couple was also seen leaving the Golden Globe party together, reportedly looking immensely happy as things seemed to be going well for Gibson that night. The couple hid away in Playa Barrigona then was reported to have headed out to Panama, allegedly looking happy together.
However, Gossip Cop reported that fans should not expect to see any engagement happening anytime soon as the actor is reportedly taking things slow as he is not "willing to risk what is left of his fortune."
It was reported that Mel Gibson's ex-wife, Robyn Moore, got about a $425 million payout from their divorce, and while Rosaling Ross is not after his money, Gibson is still reportedly being cautious.
