Kai To Rejoin EXO’s North American Concert Tour After Missing The First Show In Dallas Due To Visa Problems
EXO member Kai will finally join the rest of the boys for a series of concert in North America after missing their first show in Dallas Wednesday due to visa problems.
Reports revealed that Kai's absence on EXO's first stop for "EXO FROM PLANET #2 The EXO'luXion Tour" was due to the delayed issuance of his visa, via Korea Joongang Daily.
Concert organizer of EXO's North American concert tour issued an apology on Kai's absence and pledged to issue refunds to fans if needed.
"We'll give refunds to the fans in need," My Music Taste said.
The 22-year-old Kpop idol is expected to be present in Vancouver, the second stop of "EXO FROM PLANET #2 The EXO'luXion Tour."
"Kai will leave for Vancouver tonight to join the band's second concert as he has received his visa," SM Entertainment announced on Thursday, courtesy of Yonhap News Agency.
The agency said Kai's U.S. visa was released a day after the Dallas show, adding that the Kpop idol will surely join EXO for their shows in Los Angeles, New York and Chicago, the website added.
"EXO FROM PLANET #2 The EXO'luXion Tour" is the first North American concert tour for EXO. The band reportedly plans to stage a series of concert in South Korea in March.
The popular Kpop band was formed by SM Entertainment in 2011 and made their debut a year later. Members of the band are divided into two subgroups, EXO-K and EXO-M, that perform Korean and Mandarin music respectively.
Their career took off with the release of their first album, entitled "XOXO," in 2013. The best-selling album won the Disk Daesang at the 28th Golden Disk Awards and Album of the Year award at the 15th Mnet Asian Music Awards.
EXO has released two albums, four extended plays and one live album. The Kpop band are also endorsers of a number of companies, including clothing and cosmetics brands.
