'Fast And Furious 8' Cast News: Michelle Rodriguez Disapproves Of Charlize Theron’s Role?

Just recently, Vin Diesel revealed some interesting details about what to expect for "Fast and Furios 8," including Charize Theron's appearance in the upcoming movie. The "Mad Max" actress has been the talk of the town after the revelation.

Various reports say that Theron would play as the leader of the villains in the said movie.

After hearing the said news, rumors spread that "Fast and Furios 8" is going a feminine route in terms of the story, which Michelle Rodriguez reportedly disapproves if pushed.

Enstarz reported that Rodriquez is quite liking the idea of focusing some women characters in the story, but disagrees on making it overly feminists. The "Resident Evil" actress thinks that they might lose a bracket of audience if the film continues to push for that setup.

"I think it's cute but you do lose a lot of audience when you specialize like that. It's kind of like a black organization or Latino organization making content just for Latinos or blacks. It's stupid. You know what I mean?" she said.

"If I were ever to do it, I think you have to be all encompassing. You have to think holistically and look for the broader audiences," Rodriguez added. "And I don't like hating on guys to make women powerful. I think you can do both. Mad Max is proof of that."

Though there are still no confirmations about Charize Theron's role in "Fast and Furious 8," fans were saying that Vin Diesel's and Michelle Rondriguez' statements about "Mad Max" and Charize Theron are signs that indeed she's something to expect in the movie.

Meanwhile, The Guardian shared Diesel's confirmation about the release dates of the street-racing saga of "Fast and Furious." "'Fast 8' is due in multiplexes on 14 April 2017, "Fast & Furious 9" follows on 19 April 2019, and final episode "Fast & Furious 10" debuts on 2 April 2021," Vin Diesel revealed.

If Charize Theron will be officially part of "Fast and Furious 8," many fans can't wait to see how good she is with fast cars.
