What's the deal with the viral photo of Emilia Clarke kissing Kit Harington?

Is there any chance that "Game of Thrones" fans will see these two having a serious on-screen chemistry in future seasons?

Quite expectedly, these were the questions that struck everyone the moment they first saw the photo clicked and uploaded by photographer Peggy Sirota.

But unfortunately, as it turns out, the rumors that Khaleesi will soon hook up with everyone's favorite Jon Snow in the show is not backed by any credible evidence.

Sirota recently uploaded the photo of the two actors kissing on her Instagram account.

"This moment was unforgettable," Sirota captioned the image. "It was a small crew on that day, just a few of us out in the field. The chemistry between these four was huge, as you can see... I asked them to kiss, I suppose love was in the air, and I was just lucky enough to be there."

By "these four," Sirota meant Clarke, Harington and two other co-stars Alfie Allen who plays Theon Greyjoy and Lena Heady who plays Cersei Lannister in "Game of Thrones."

However, according to this Bitbag report, even though the photo of Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington kissing made it to social media only recently, it was clicked way back in 2012 during a Rolling Stone photo shoot.

Therefore, it's only fair to assume that the speculative reports on these two actors' characters hooking up on screen anytime soon could be unfounded.

They might, eventually, join forces sometime in the future of "Game of Thrones."

After all, who can dare shrug off the theory that the two characters might join forces in the future and conquer the Iron Throne, bringing a deserving end to the reign of the awful Lannisters (or whoever else replaces them in the coming seasons)?

But the photo of Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington in question alone does not suffice for drawing such conclusion for "Game of Thrones" season 6.
