Guns N' Roses To Headline Coachella 2016! Lineup To Music Festival Detailed
Arguably one of the best rock groups of all time, Guns N' Roses will reunite at Coachella 2016, headlining the festival with LCD System and Calvin Harris.
Rumors of a Guns N' Roses reunion has been swirling on the internet since December.
According to Billboard, Coachella officially added the legendary rock group to the 2016 lineup back in January. Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan have been confirmed, but former members Izzy Stradlin and drummer Steven Adler have yet to confirm their participation.
Below is Coachella's official 2016 lineup press release as published by Ultimate Classic Rock.
"Upholding a three-decade tradition of breaking ground, creating trends, and forever changing the face of rock 'n' roll, Guns N' Roses announce the most significant and anxiously awaited musical event of this century. Founder Axl Rose and former members Slash and Duff McKagan will regroup to headline the Coachella Music & Arts Festival (April 15-17 & April 22-24)-as announced last night!"
Their performance in April will be the first time Axl and Slash share a stage since their last performance together on July 17, 1993, at River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina. They are set to headline both Saturdays of the festival, followed by Ice Cube, Disclosure, Zedd, CHVRCHES, Halsey, James Bay and more.
However, Guns N' Roses isn't the only group reuniting at Coachella 2016. LCD Soundsystem will once again hit the stage after their farewell show in 2011.
According to USA Today, the NYC electronica group is set to headline the Fridays of the festival, followed by Ellie Goulding, Sufjan Stevens, Underworld, The Kills, Foals and more.
Taylor Swift's beau, Scottish DJ and producer Calvin Harris, will headline Sunday followed by Sia, Major Lazer, Flume, Beach House, The 1975 and Rancid.
