Niall Horan ‘Disappointed’ Over Split With Selena Gomez? Singer Gets Close With Ex’s New GF?

While there have been no confirmations from them that they were indeed an item, recent reports claimed that Niall Horan felt "disappointed" over his break-up with Selena Gomez.

According to Hollywood Life, a source dished that what transpired between the 23-year-old "Good For You" singer and the 22-year-old One Direction band member was just a "drunk hook up," but still, the latter felt bad that it ended. 

"Niall really was happy when they hooked up but now realizes it was a drunk hookup night that didn't do anything more because Selena didn't want it," the source reportedly shared. "He would have liked it to have been something but now that time has passed he realizes a relationship with Selena will never happen."

The insider continued by saying that Niall Horan "is not heartbroken, just disappointed that it never had the chance to be more," which could have given him the opportunity to call Selena Gomez his girlfriend.

However, despite the supposed sad ending, the 1D singer reportedly expressed that "being her friend is an OK landing spot."

In the meantime, Gossip Cop pointed out that a split did not actually happen since there was practically no romance that happened between them to begin with. 

"Selena Gomez and Niall Horan have not 'split' nor have they 'cooled' off their romance, because they never had one," the outlet stated.

On the other hand, Hollywood Life revealed in a separate report that the former "Barney & Friends" star hung out with the rumoured new girlfriend of her ex Justin Bieber. 

Based on the story, Hailey Baldwin, the supposed new girl of the "Somebody to Love" singer, bonded with Selena Gomez and their common friend Gigi Hadid on Sunday at a private party at Zuma.
