'Dawson's Creek' Alum Busy Phillips Slammed Katie Holmes For Unfriending Her Following Marriage To Tom Cruise
"Dawson's Creek" alum Busy Philipps claimed that her co-star Katie Holmes unfriended her following marriage with Tom Cruise.
In an interview with "Watch What Happens Live" with Andy Cohen, Phillipps recounted the event.
"I just remember when (she started dating Cruise) I was like, 'Are you on a plane in San Francisco with Tom Cruise? What's happening?'" She told Cohen.
Despite her constant communication with Holmes, Philipps claimed that Holmes tried avoiding her with all the TomKat fiasco going on at that time.
"I left her several voicemail messages," she said. "And then I saw her three years later and she had a kid."
However, Busy Philipps is actually known to be more close with another "Dawson's Creek" alum, Michelle Williams.
She is, in fact, the godmother to Williams and Heath Ledger's daughter, Matilda.
Despite the apparent drifting apart of Katie Holmes and Busy Williams, Tom Cruise's ex-wife has openly acknowledged the opportunity "Dawson's Creek" has given her.
"I don't know if I have moved past it, but I don't really care," Holmes said with a smile. "I had a ball doing it, and it's really nice to be a part of something that did affect people. And it created a lot of opportunities for all of us. You can't really ask for much more than that," Tom Cruise's ex-wife explained during an interview with Elle Canada.
"Dawson's Creek" fans are "all grown up now," Holmes added.
