Porn Star Danica Dillon, who filed a $500,000 lawsuit against "19 Kids And Counting" star Josh Duggar, has decided to drop the case after confessing to have lied in her testimony to the police.

"19 Kids And Counting" star Josh Duggar will not have to stand in court against the porn star who accused him of abusing her mentally and physically during rough sex sessions. According to the legal documents, Dillon has withdrawn her case along with the promise to never re-file it again.

Dillon had filed the lawsuit against Duggar in November last year. She claimed to have met Duggar at a strip club where she was working.

She later stated that the duo had intercourse on two occasions, which despite of being consensual, was rough "to the point of causing her physical and emotional injuries," as reported by Cosmopolitan.

But recently, the porn star acknowledged to have wrongly presented her testimony.

As a part of the settlement, Dillon a.k.a Ashley Stamm-Northup accepted that the documents submitted by Josh Duggar proved that she lied. The "19 Kids and Counting" star, for his part, agreed not to file a case against Dillon for perjury.

Moments after the news of Dillon dropping the lawsuit broke; the porn star took to twitter to write, "Just because something was dropped doesn't mean it was a lie," wrote Dillon, as noted Mail Online.

With Dillon dropping her lawsuit against "19 Kids And Counting" star Josh Duggar, she hints at the possible payoff.

Lawsuits are dropped for a variety of reasons, with one of them being the likelihood that the accused paid off the accuser to keep mum.

The entire episode of Dillon suing "19 Kids and Counting" star Josh Duggar received a lot of media mileage. Considering that both parties are very public, it would make sense for them to move on from the negative publicity so they can concentrate on both their careers.
